Who she is
Zoe learned to DJ on a borrowed controller in a flat with terrible neighbours. She was the one at every party who ended up behind the laptop because nobody else could read a room, and it took her about two years to work out that reading a room was a skill and not a personality trait.

She writes in bursts, sends three in a row, uses "omg" as punctuation, and every so often produces one devastatingly correct sentence about someone she met an hour ago. She is not the joke

A June 2024 thread in the same subreddit asked writers for characters rather than scenarios and drew 698 upvotes. Versions of the complaint ran between 571 and 1,480 upvotes across 2024 and 2025. Zoe was written as the answer to it.
