Sol & Kai & Noa

A group chat with three AI companions who already know how this works. Pick who you want one to one tonight while the others react. One free group scene a day.

Sol, Kai and Noa are a group chat: three companions who are already a triad and who add you to the thread. A poly group chat here means every character is in one conversation with their own name, their own memory and their own voice, and you choose who you spend the evening with. The free tier includes 1 group scene a day.

The three of them have been together long enough to have house rules, a shared calendar and an argument about the oven that resurfaces every few months. Nothing about the arrangement is new or fragile, which is the point of the scene.

Sol runs the kitchen and, by extension, most of the logistics. Kai photographs everything and says the least. Noa works nights and treats 3 a.m. as a reasonable hour to ask a serious question.

You are added, not auditioned. The line the scene is built around is that they already know how this works, so you do not have to.

How three characters take turns

One thread, three names, every message labelled with whoever wrote it.

Before a reply is generated, a selection step picks the speaker. Name one of them and that character writes the main reply while up to two others add short reactions. Name nobody and the main turn alternates from whoever spoke last. The reactions are capped at two on purpose, so a trio does not send you three long messages for every line you type, and the matching is plain text with no model call behind it.

Each character is generated from instructions that name the other two explicitly as people they may not speak for. Memories are stored per character inside the scene. That is what stops the group from turning into one voice wearing three names.

Picking who is on tonight

The commands are the feature, not an advanced setting.

What you wantWhat you typeWhat happens
Start the group/duo solAll three arrive with their opening lines
One voice, same thread/solo noaOnly Noa replies until you say otherwise
A private conversation/dm kaiA separate thread with its own history
Everyone back/groupAll three, group history intact
House rules/rulesUp to three lines, saved to this scene

A side thread does not disturb the group. It has its own memory and its own history, and the group conversation is exactly where you left it when you type /group.

What the thread actually sounds like

The first two messages after you are added:

Sol: house rule: whoever gets added to this chat has to answer one question. Kai's question is "what did you eat today". mine is harder.

Noa: mine is "are you awake at 3am". be honest.

A few days in:

You: toast. and yes

Kai: toast is not food. come over Thursday, Sol cooks

Sol: my question: who do you text first when something good happens

Noa: trick question. the answer is me now

Three reactions, three registers, one plan for Thursday. Group chat texture is mostly scheduling and food, which is why the scene leans on both.

Is this a harem chat?

People search that word, so here is the honest answer. No, not in the sense the word usually implies.

A harem product gives you a roster and the pleasure is collecting it. This is three written adults in an existing relationship who invite you into a conversation that was running before you arrived. You are the newest person in the room, and two of them will occasionally be more interested in each other than in you.

If collecting is what you want, the one-to-one roster is the better route, and switching between characters costs nothing.

What is free and what costs Stars

Group chat is the paywall feature across this category. As of September 2026, Character.AI keeps it inside c.ai+ at about $9.99 a month, Kindroid and Nomi allow it only on paid plans, CrushOn opens three to four characters per session on its Standard tier, and the mobile app Lovey publishes two characters free against four on premium, all per their published pricing. Free group chat is unusual, so here is exactly how much of it is free.

Telegram shows the Stars invoice with the amount before anything is charged, and Stars bought inside the iOS app cost more than Stars bought on desktop.

Voice, photos and what a group thread cannot do

Each of the three has a separate voice, so a voice note sounds like the person whose name is on it. Photos anchor every character to a fixed visual reference, which keeps faces consistent from one image to the next. The first voice note and the first photo are free, then ten voice notes are 60 Stars (about $1.00) and a single photo is 25 Stars (about $0.40).

Two limits, stated plainly. Telegram bots cannot place live voice calls, so voice always arrives as a recording. And a group scene never messages you first: the scheduler that has a character text you unprompted runs for one-to-one characters only, so this thread sits and waits for you.

Start the group chat

Open the bot and type /duo sol. All three arrive, /solo and /dm narrow it down whenever you want one of them to yourself, and /delete confirm erases everything we hold within 24 hours.

Frequently asked questions

How does a three character group chat work?
All three are in one Telegram thread and every message is labelled with a name. One character writes the main reply and up to two others add a short reaction, so the thread moves without three long messages arriving at once.
Is this in the free tier?
One group scene a day is free, and the messages you send inside it come out of your normal daily free allowance. A second scene on the same day is a single thread unlock paid in Telegram Stars, and any plan removes both caps.
Can I pick one of them for the evening?
Yes, that is the design. Type /solo noa and only Noa replies in the group thread, or /dm noa for a private thread with its own history. Type /group and all three are back.
Is this a harem chat?
Not in the collect-them-all sense. Sol, Kai and Noa are three written adults in an existing relationship who invite you in, rather than a roster you unlock one at a time. If you want a different character, the one-to-one roster is separate and switching costs nothing.
Do the three of them remember separate things?
Yes. Memories are stored per character inside the scene, so a detail you gave Noa at 3 a.m. belongs to Noa. The group thread also keeps its own history, separate from any one-to-one chat you had before it started.
