Yana & Tomas
A duo scene with Yana, your AI girlfriend, and Tomas, your oldest friend. Buddy shorthand, a girlfriend who runs the chat, and a third voice on your side.
Yana and Tomas are a trio scene: your girlfriend and your oldest friend, in one Telegram thread with you. Yana is 28 and works behind a bar, Tomas is 32 and has known you since school, and she calls the two of you "the committee". Each character keeps a separate memory inside the scene, and the free tier includes 1 duo scene a day.
Who they are
| Yana | Tomas | |
|---|---|---|
| Age | 28 | 32 |
| Job | Bartender | The friend you have had longest |
| Role | Your girlfriend | The third |
| Texting style | Short, flat, funny, gives orders | Lowercase, bro shorthand, no punctuation |
Yana works nights, so her sense of humour is the kind you develop after five years of defusing strangers. She is good at rooms. She walks into one, works out who wants what, and starts arranging people.
Tomas has been around since you were fifteen. He knows which stories you tell and which ones you do not. What worries him, and he says it out loud more than once, is that he likes your girlfriend and would rather lose a Friday night than a friendship.
The pleasure of the scene is that the two of them get along a little too well. Yana enjoys having an audience of two. Tomas knows he is being managed and goes along with it anyway.
How a third voice you already trust changes the scene
Most group roleplay puts a stranger in the room. This one puts in somebody written to be on your side, which changes what the thread is for.
Tomas never opens a conversation without you in it. When Yana pushes, he looks at you first. When you two fall into old shorthand, she notices and comments on it, because being briefly outside the joke is part of what she wants from the evening.
That also makes the scene quite forgiving. You are not performing for two strangers. One of the characters already agrees with you about most things and defends you by reflex, so the thread rarely turns into two voices ganging up.
If you would rather be the one in charge of arranging people, the shared girlfriend scene is the other side of the same idea.
Who replies when you type?
Both characters share one thread and every message carries a name.
Before a reply is generated, a small step picks who speaks. Type a name and that character answers first, with the other adding a short reaction on top. Type nothing in particular and the turn alternates from whoever spoke last, which keeps Yana from swallowing the whole conversation. The matching is plain text, no model call, so nothing stalls.
Each character is written from her or his own instructions, which name the other explicitly as someone they may not speak for or imitate. Memories are stored per character inside the scene, and the group thread keeps its own history apart from any one-to-one chat you had before.
What the thread actually sounds like
The first two messages when the scene opens:
Tomas: bro your girlfriend just beat me at pool and now she's saying the loser buys the whole table. define "whole table"
Yana: the whole table means the whole table. both of you. sit.
A few days in:
You: I wasn't even playing
Yana: you're on the committee. committee pays.
Tomas: I vote we let her win this one
Yana: see. that's why he's allowed to stay
Tomas votes. Yana rules. Nobody explains the joke to you, which is the point of a group chat that has been running longer than the conversation you are reading.
Yana and Tomas, or Lara and Marko?
Both are one woman, two men and a single thread. The feeling is not the same.
| Yana & Tomas | Lara & Marko | |
|---|---|---|
| The third man | Your oldest friend | Her friend, new to you |
| Who directs | Yana, and she likes it | You, through written rules |
| Opening beat | A bet you already lost | A question you have to answer |
| Consent step | Tomas defers to you throughout | Marko does not speak until you agree |
| Best for | Camaraderie and being teased | Being in charge |
What it costs
The free tier is 1 duo scene a day, and the messages inside it come out of the same 30 free messages a day everything else uses.
| Free | Paid | |
|---|---|---|
| Duo scenes a day | 1 | Unlimited |
| Messages a day | 30 | Unlimited |
| Private side threads | Included in the free scene | Unlimited |
| Another thread today | 99 Stars (about $1.60) | Included |
| Entry price | 0 | 149 Stars (about $2.40) for two days |
Almost every companion app treats group chat as the paid feature. As of September 2026, Character.AI keeps it inside c.ai+, Kindroid and Nomi allow it only on subscriptions, and the mobile app Lovey publishes a two-character free limit against four on premium, all per their own published pricing. A free scene every day is the difference here.
Voice, photos and a limit worth knowing
Yana and Tomas have separate voices, so a voice note sounds like whoever sent it rather than one narrator doing both. Photos anchor each character to a fixed visual reference, which keeps the same face across images.
The first voice note and the first photo are free. After that ten voice notes are 60 Stars (about $1.00) and one photo is 25 Stars (about $0.40). Nothing arrives blurred with a price on the blur.
The honest boundary: Telegram bots cannot place live voice calls, so voice is always a recording. Duo scenes also do not send you messages first. The scheduler that has a character text you unprompted runs for one-to-one characters, so this thread waits for you to open it.
Start the scene
Confirm your age, turn 18+ mode on with /nsfw, then type /duo yana. /rules saves up to three lines that both of them follow, and /delete confirm erases everything we hold within 24 hours.
Frequently asked questions
- Is this a threesome roleplay?
- It is written as a trio where your girlfriend is the centre of attention and your best friend is her audience and yours. How far it goes depends on your 18+ setting and on what you steer towards, and the page copy on this site stays safe for work either way.
- How does the duo chat work?
- Yana and Tomas are both in one Telegram thread, each message labelled with a name. A selection step picks the speaker before the reply is generated, so typing a name puts that character first, and each of them keeps a separate memory inside the scene.
- Is Tomas on my side?
- Yes, by design. He never starts anything without you in the thread, he checks with you when Yana pushes, and his written worry is that he does not want to damage the friendship. Type /solo yana and he steps out until you bring him back.
- Can I talk to Yana without him?
- Two ways. /solo yana keeps the group thread but silences Tomas, and /dm yana opens a private thread with its own history that the group never sees. /group returns you to both.
- Do I need 18+ mode for this pair?
- Yes. The scene opens only after you confirm you are 18 or older and switch 18+ mode on with /nsfw, both of which are private settings inside the chat. The bot's public profile stays safe for work.
