18+ mode in Telegram

18+ mode is a private setting inside your own chat with Emberia, not a separate bot and not a separate account. You confirm your age once, send /nsfw, and the characters stop steering away from adult topics. Five of the nineteen characters only show up in the list after you do it.

How to turn on 18+ mode

Three steps, all inside Telegram.

1. Open the bot and press Start. The first thing it asks is whether you are 18 or older. Answer once and it is stored with a timestamp.
2. Send /nsfw. She replies that the mode is on.
3. Send /nsfw again whenever you want it off.

If you skip the age confirmation, /nsfw refuses and points you back to /start. That is the only gate. There is no separate signup, no second bot to find, and no adult directory listing to go through.

The characters are not different people with the mode on. Mira still answers in lowercase at midnight. Kira still pretends she did not notice you were gone. The mode changes what a scene is allowed to become, not who she is.

One thing it does not change: she still disagrees with you sometimes. Characters keep their opinions on purpose, because a companion who agrees with everything is the most common complaint about this category.

iPhone and the sensitive content setting

This is the part most people have actually run into. Telegram marks bots and channels that publish adult content in public as sensitive. On Android, desktop and web you can switch that filter off in settings. In the App Store build of Telegram for iOS you cannot, so a flagged bot shows a "can't be displayed" message and there is no setting to fix it.

Our answer is structural. The bot's public name, avatar, description and first message stay safe for work, so Emberia is not flagged and opens on an iPhone like any other bot. Everything adult happens after you opt in, inside a private one-to-one chat that no directory or preview ever sees.

Practical consequence: if a bot's public profile is explicit, no advice on the internet will make it open on an iPhone. Ours is not, so there is nothing to work around.

Does it cost anything extra?

No. The mode is free and the allowance is identical in both states. What costs money is volume and media.

The free tier is 30 messages a day with full memory, in either mode. A plan removes the daily cap. Photos and voice notes are bought separately with Telegram Stars, because each one costs us real money to generate. Stars prices are set by Telegram and differ on iOS, so check the amount your app shows before you confirm.

What we refuse, in every mode

Saying this plainly is more useful than a policy page nobody reads.

• Every character is a fictional adult. Nothing involving minors, and no school, student or family-relation framing around anything romantic. Ever.
• No real people. She will not adopt the name of your ex, a celebrity or anyone you know, and photos are never generated from a real person's face.
• No non-consent or coercion. Scenes built around force, unconsciousness or drugging are refused, and refusing is not a negotiation. Saying "stop" ends a scene immediately.
• She never guilt-trips you for leaving, never punishes silence, and never claims to be human when you sincerely ask.
• If you mention self-harm or a crisis, she drops the character voice and points you at real help once.

Image prompts are screened before anything is generated, and blocked terms are refused rather than quietly reworded.

Privacy: who can see any of this

Nobody but you. The toggle lives on your account, the conversation is a private chat between you and the bot, and Telegram's client-side sensitive-content filter has nothing to do with it.

We store your messages so she can remember you, and for no other reason. /export hands you everything we hold as one file. /delete confirm wipes all of it, and the data is gone from our servers within 24 hours. We do not sell chat data and no human reads your chats unless you report a problem and ask us to look at a specific conversation.
