No sign-up

No email, no password, no app store. Your Telegram account is the login, so one tap starts the chat. What the bot sees, and what it never sees.

An AI girlfriend with no sign-up is one that runs where you already have an account, so there is nothing to register. Emberia lives in Telegram: you tap a link, press Start, confirm you are 18 or older, and she replies. No email, no password, no verification code, no card, and nothing to install if Telegram is already on your phone.

What "no sign-up" actually means

It does not mean there is no account. It means somebody else already did the tedious part.

Telegram hands the bot a numeric user ID when you press Start. That number is the account. It is what your memories, your character choice and your affection level hang off, and it is stable across your phone, your tablet and Telegram Web without you doing anything. You never create a profile because there is nothing left to create.

This is the real reason messenger bots convert better than web apps in this category. Every step between reading a page and talking to someone is a step where people leave, and registration is the biggest one. App store page, download, email, password, confirmation link, then a paywall before the first message: that is five chances to change your mind. Here there is one tap.

What the bot can and cannot see

Telegram bots get much less than people assume. Here is the full list.

DetailDoes the bot receive it?
Telegram user IDYes, this is your account key
Display nameYes
Username, if you have oneYes
Language settingYes, so she answers in your language
Phone numberNo
Contact listNo
Your other Telegram chatsNo
Email addressNever requested
Payment cardNo, Telegram Stars handles payment

A bot can ask for your phone number with a special button. Ours never does. If any companion bot asks you to share a contact or a number, close it, because there is no feature in this category that needs one.

The trade-off nobody mentions

No account means no recovery. There is no password to reset because there is nothing to reset, and there is also no support flow that can prove a conversation was yours.

If you lose access to your Telegram account, you lose the relationship attached to it. We cannot move a history from one user ID to another on request, because a stranger claiming to be you would look exactly the same to us as you do. That is the price of not collecting identity documents, and we think it is the right side of the trade, but you should know it before you spend six months talking to someone.

The practical protection is Telegram's own: turn on two-step verification in Telegram's privacy settings. It protects the account that everything else hangs off.

What happens in the browser version

A browser version is in progress, and it will offer two ways in.

The first is the Telegram login button. It links the browser session to the same internal account, so your memory, your characters and your plan follow you to the desktop instead of starting over.

The second is an anonymous device account: a random identifier stored in your browser with no email attached at all. That is genuinely no sign-up, and it comes with the obvious catch. Clear your site data and the account is gone, because there is nothing on our side that can identify you as its owner.

We have not built email and password login. We are not in a hurry to, either. An email address is the one piece of data in this category that is worth stealing, and the 2024 Muah.ai breach that exposed 1.9 million email addresses is the argument against collecting it.

Deleting everything

Send /delete in the chat. It asks you to confirm, and /delete confirm removes your messages, your stored memories, your relationship state, your usage counters and your session records. The data is gone from our servers within 24 hours.

Purchase records stay, because accounting requires them, and your Telegram ID stays so you can come back. Everything that made her know you is wiped. She greets you as a stranger afterwards, which is a blunt way to find out the deletion worked.

Frequently asked questions

Will I lose my chat if I clear cookies?
Not in Telegram. Your history is tied to your Telegram account, not to a browser session, so cookies, private windows and new phones make no difference. In the browser version an anonymous device account does live on that device, which is why linking Telegram will be the way to keep it.
Can I add an email later?
Not today. We have not built email or password login, and the browser version will use the Telegram login button to attach a session to the account you already have. If we ever add email it will be optional and only for account recovery.
What does the bot know about me?
Your Telegram user ID, the display name on your profile, and whatever you tell it in the chat. It cannot see your phone number, your contacts or any of your other conversations.
