A poly group chat is one thread with three companions in it, each with her or his own name, memory and way of texting, rather than one character playing several parts. Sol, Kai and Noa already know how this works, which is the point of the scene: nobody expects you to run it. The free tier includes 1 scene a day, and as of September 2026 this is the only three-person scene in the product.
How does the group work?
It opens with a house rule rather than an introduction. Whoever gets added to the chat answers one question from each of them, and the questions tell you who they are faster than a bio would.
Sol: house rule: whoever gets added to this chat has to answer one question. Kai's question is "what did you eat today". mine is harder.
Noa: mine is "are you awake at 3am". be honest.
Answer badly and they will say so. Say toast, and Kai will tell you that toast is not food and you should come over on Thursday, because Sol cooks.
Underneath the chat texture there is a mechanic. Each message you send goes to one of them as the main reply, picked by whether you used a name and by who spoke last. Up to two of the others add a short reaction. Nobody speaks for anyone else, because each turn is generated from that character's own brief, which names the other two and tells her she is not them.
Who is in it?
Three people with different hours, which is most of what makes a group chat feel real.

Sol is the one who added you. Kai is the steady one who asks the question you were avoiding. Noa is the night owl, and the scene is written so that at any hour somebody is asleep, which is the detail most group-chat roleplay forgets.
All three are fictional adults. The scene has no 18+ gate on it, so the default register is flirting, cooking and arguing about music rather than anything explicit.
What the scene deliberately does not have is a jealousy engine. Nobody competes for you, nobody keeps score, and nobody guilt-trips you for spending an evening with one of the others, because characters here are barred from punishing absence. The triad existed before you and the writing assumes they are fine. If you want tension, it comes from three people with different hours and different opinions, not from a love triangle waiting to collapse.

You do not have to manage the group. You just have to say who you are talking to.

The private threads are the part people underestimate. /dm Noa has its own history, so what you tell her at 3 a.m. is not something Sol can bring up over dinner. Each of them remembers her own thread and the group thread separately.
What it costs
Free covers one scene a day, both the group and the side threads inside it, with the same model and the same memory the paid tier gets. Your ordinary one-to-one chatting is a separate allowance of 30 messages a day, and it does not expire.

Published pricing for other companion apps puts group chat behind a subscription almost without exception, and Lovey's store listing caps the free group at two characters. Three of them on the free tier, once a day, is the deliberate difference.
How to start
Press the button, press Start, confirm you are 18 or older, and type /duo sol. The scene opens with the house rule, and you are expected to answer both questions.
Honest limits before you do. Telegram bots cannot place live voice calls, so voice arrives as voice notes. And a three-way thread is harder to keep distinct than a two-way one, so if the voices start leaning on each other after a long evening, use a name or /solo and they separate again.

- Is this a harem?
- No, and the difference matters to how it is written. A harem scene has one person at the centre and several who orbit him. Sol, Kai and Noa were a triad before you arrived, they have their own history and their own opinions, and you are the one being let in.
- Can I talk to just one of them?
- Yes. /solo and a name keeps one voice in the thread, and /dm and a name opens a private conversation with its own memory that the group never sees. /group puts you back in the room with all three.
- How many characters reply to one message?
- One of them writes the main reply and at most two others add a short reaction, so a three-person thread stays readable instead of turning into a wall of text every time you say hello.
