Best AI girlfriend Telegram bots (2026)
Ten AI girlfriend bots on Telegram side by side: free limits, 18+ policy, voice, photos, payment methods and monthly users. Prices read September 2026.
The biggest AI girlfriend bot on Telegram is Lucid Dreams (@luciddreams_bot), whose public monthly-user counter read 1,154,934 in August 2026. The best one for you is a narrower question, and it comes down to three things: whether the free tier has a published number, whether you can pay without a card, and whether the bot will even open on your phone. The ten bots below are the ones with public numbers attached, read on 15 September 2026.
An AI girlfriend bot on Telegram is a chatbot that plays a fixed fictional character, keeps what you told it between sessions, and answers inside your normal chat list rather than in a separate app.
Where these numbers come from, and what we refused to guess
Every figure below is one somebody published. Monthly-user counts are Telegram's own public counter for bots, compiled in HoneyChat's August 2026 roundup, which makes them self-reported platform numbers rather than audited traffic. Prices come from each bot's own pricing message or website, read on 15 September 2026.
We have not bought a subscription inside all ten. When a bot does not state its free allowance, its voice policy or its image policy, the cell says "not published" and stays there. The iPhone column says "not verified" everywhere but our own row, because Telegram's sensitive-content flag is set per bot and we have not opened all nine on an iPhone. Most listicles fill those cells anyway, because they are paid per signup by the products they rank. We would rather ship a table with holes in it.
One more disclosure. We make Emberia, and it is first on the list. Read its cons before you read anything else.

1. Emberia (@Emberia_Bot)
Free tier is 30 messages a day with full memory, and it resets every 24 hours rather than running out at the end of a trial. Every character has a written backstory rather than a tag list. The 18+ mode is a private switch inside the chat, which is why the public profile stays safe for work and iPhone shows it. /delete confirm wipes everything and /export hands you your data in one file.
| Plan | Telegram Stars | Roughly |
|---|---|---|
| 2-day pass | 149 | $2.40 |
| 1 month | 449 | $7.20 |
| 3 months | 999 | $15.90 |
| 1 year | 2499 | $39.90 |
The impulse entry is the 2-day pass at 149 Stars (about $2.40) and the anchor plan is three months at 999 Stars (about $15.90).
Now the cons. It is new, so there is no monthly-user counter to hold against Lucid Dreams. It is Telegram only, with no web app and no mobile app. There is no video. Voice notes and photos both sit behind the paywall. And Telegram bots cannot place live voice calls, so voice arrives as voice notes, from us and from everyone else on this list.
2. Lucid Dreams (@luciddreams_bot)
The category leader by a wide margin, with roughly four times the monthly users of the next bot. The subscription runs 349 Telegram Stars a month. Alongside it sit credit packs from $8.80 to $200.
That $200 ceiling is the thing to look at first. Credit systems decouple what you pay from what you get, and a per-image price is easy to lose track of inside a good conversation. Lucid Dreams does not publish a free allowance either, so the entry point stays unclear until you are in the chat. If you want the biggest catalog and the most active bot in the space, this is it, with that caveat attached.
3. AnyChars 18+ (@AnyChars18_bot)
Second by monthly users at 282,595, and priced in rubles at 650 a month, which tells you where it was built. Much of the top of the Telegram companion market is Russian-built and monetized in Stars, rubles or crypto.
Worth knowing before you tap: this bot carries 18+ in its own username. That is the kind of public surface Telegram flags as sensitive content, and a flagged bot returns "can't be displayed" inside the iOS app. There is no setting in the App Store build that turns the filter off. If you are on an iPhone and a bot refuses to open, that is usually why, and the bot cannot fix it for you.
4. The middle of the table: SpicyTalks, AERA, GoSpicy, KissMe
SpicyTalks (@spicytalksbot) has 211,606 monthly users, third on the list. It runs the pattern most of this tier runs: a subscription for the base experience, then credits on top for anything that costs the operator real money per use.
There is not much published beyond that. No stated free allowance, no stated voice or image policy, no currency breakdown. AERA (@AERASECRETS_bot, 191,845 users) and GoSpicy (@GoSpicyBot, 141,641) sit just below it with much the same shape, and KissMe (@KissMe_AI_Bot, 97,460) prices in diamonds. Healthy by user count, opaque by pricing.
5. HoneyChat (@HoneyChatAIBot)
The most transparent operator on the list and the one worth studying. Free tier is 20 messages a day, stated up front. Paid plans run from $4.99 to $99.99, payable in Telegram Stars, TON or by card, so a bank card is optional. It does send voice notes, which few bots in Telegram do.
It also runs its site in 30 languages, which is more localization than every other bot here combined. Two honest notes. Its own monthly-user count is not published, and its August 2026 roundup, the source of the counter numbers in our table, ranks HoneyChat first. Everyone in this category ranks themselves first, ourselves included.
Also worth knowing
Candy AI runs an official bot at @CandyAI_Bot for $12.99 a month, though it is a front door to a web product rather than a Telegram-native one. CraveU AI (@CraveuAI) is the cheapest published subscription at $4.99 a month. Joi (@joi_channel) is the only Telegram bot we found that generates video.
Which one to pick
| What matters most to you | Pick |
|---|---|
| The biggest catalog and the most active bot | Lucid Dreams |
| A free tier with a number you can read before you start | Emberia or HoneyChat |
| Paying without a card | Emberia (Stars) or HoneyChat (Stars or TON) |
| A bot that opens on an iPhone without workarounds | Any bot with a safe-for-work public profile |
| Video | Joi |
| Your own language, if it is not English | HoneyChat |
Red flags to watch
Weekly billing. Kupid.ai sells a $12.99 weekly plan next to $17.99 to $49.99 monthly tiers. A weekly plan bills 52 times a year. "Refund" is a top search keyword for trynectar.ai, which tells you how that ends.
Breaches. Muah.ai leaked 1.9 million email addresses in 2024, and the Chattee and GiMe leak exposed 43 million messages in 2025. A bot that never asks for your email cannot leak it. That is the strongest structural argument for the Telegram format.
In-bot currencies. Diamonds, gold, energy, credits. They exist to make the price per photo hard to compute. If a bot will not quote you a monthly number, assume the monthly number is high.
Unverifiable user counts. Telegram shows a monthly-user line on a bot's own profile, so any figure in a list can be checked against the bot itself in about ten seconds. If a list quotes counts and never gives you the handle, nobody checked them.
A blurred photo as the first paywall. It converts, everyone uses it, and it tells you the product was built around the wallet rather than the conversation.

Frequently asked questions
- Which AI girlfriend bot is free in Telegram?
- Emberia and HoneyChat are the two on this list that publish an actual daily free number. HoneyChat gives 20 messages a day. Emberia's free tier resets every 24 hours, includes memory, and does not expire after a trial period. The larger bots (Lucid Dreams, SpicyTalks, AERA) do not publish a free allowance at all, so you only find out where the wall is after you start.
- Which bots work on iPhone?
- Any Telegram bot whose public profile carries adult content gets Telegram's sensitive-content flag, and the iOS app then refuses to display it. iPhone users cannot switch that filter off in the App Store build, only on desktop, web or Android. Bots that keep a safe-for-work public profile and put the 18+ switch inside the chat, Emberia included, open normally on iPhone.
- Can I pay with Telegram Stars?
- Yes, on the bots that support them. Emberia charges in Stars only, HoneyChat takes Stars, TON or a card, and Lucid Dreams sells a Stars subscription alongside credit packs. Stars pricing differs on iOS, so the same plan can look like a different amount depending on where you buy the Stars.
- Is this list biased, given that you make one of the bots?
- Yes, and you should price that in. We put Emberia first and we list its weak points in the same paragraph as its strong ones. Every number attached to another bot in the table comes from that bot's own public surface or from Telegram's monthly-user counter, and where nothing is published we write 'not published' instead of filling the cell.
